FAMILY SPONSORSHIP

It is available to individuals who want to sponsor members of their family such as: dependent children (under 19 years old), adopted children (under 19 years old); spouses, partners or concubines; parents and grandparents. They can also sponsor nephews, siblings or grandchildren if they are orphans, single, and under 19 years of age.
 
Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents who are alone in Canada may sponsor a relative, regardless of the family relationship category.
